Maura Leslie
Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Maura Leslie (she/her) is a Registered Physiotherapist with a special interest in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy. Maura received a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology in 2017 from McMaster University, and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2019. During her training as a Physiotherapy student Maura recognized the abundant prevalence of pelvic floor dysfunction and the impact that it can have on one’s life. This lead Maura to become certified in Pelvic Health Physiotherapy soon after graduating.
Maura is passionate in providing personalized and compassionate care to people of all ages and genders, aiming to empower her clients to reach the goals and state of being that they envision for themselves.
Maura also practices as an Orthopedic Physiotherapist and has a passion for movement that she brings into her treatment. She strongly believes that movement is medicine. Prior to becoming a Physiotherapist, Maura worked as a strength & conditioning coach with the Varsity Women’s Hockey & Soccer teams at McMaster University, and coached fitness classes. Outside of the clinic Maura can be found cycling, running or hiking, and trying out delicious new recipes.
